I would like to get some facts on the success-rate of people who have taken the MCSE certification. What is the basic start-up salary for an MCP? And where can I find more information like this? Thank you.
Your best source of useful information will be the MCP Magazine annual salary survey, which you can access at http://mcpmag.com/salarysurveys/.
Because anybody who passes a single Microsoft certification exam becomes an MCP, I think it's impossible to put a meaningful value on MCP certification in the marketplace. Suffice it to say that it will probably be significantly less than the value of an MCSE. You should, however, be able to find the information you need at the foregoing URL. Good luck with your future certification adventures!
