Backup servers are missing in clients' Windows Explorer browse lists

I have a situation with two clients where my backup servers are missing in the browse lists (in Windows Explorer). Both clients are running Win2k server and there is only one DC. Since all FSMO operations are being held on the same machine as the Master Browser, is there a conflict in operations? This DC also is the DNS and WINS Server. Both backup servers are running CA's Arcserve.

I would check a few things. Break out the old BROWMON tool from the resource kit to see who are the master and backup browsers. Check the servers listed for errors in the event logs. In Windows 2000 the Master Browse list is seeded from entries in the WINS database -- so check that you backup servers properly appear in WINS.
