You can authenticate Linux clients to an Active Diretory domain controller using straight Kerberos. Configure the Kerberos client on the Linux bonex with your AD domain name as the domain/realm name, and with the name of one of your domain controllers (preferably your PDC Emulator) as the KDC server. How you will accomplish this depends on what flavour of Linux you're running, here's a link that walks through it on Suse as an example: http://www.wown.com/articles_tutorials/Authenticating-Linux-Active-Directory.html.
