Q

Can I restrict concurrent logons by user account instead of by workstation?

As an old Novell admin, I miss the ability to restrict concurrent logons by user account rather than the Active Directory way of restricting to a certain workstation. Is there a way to do so that I'm missing? When I restrict certain "naughty" users to a specific workstation, it prevents them from accessing certain applications in our environment. Thanks!
See the Microsoft Knowledge Base article Limiting a user's concurrent connections in Windows 2000 and Windows NT 4.0. In short, the Windows 2000 Resource Kit contains the tool CConnect.exe, which allows you to limit concurrent connections per user.
