Can I use one roaming profile for all users, instead of creating separate profiles on the server for each user? Thanks in advance.
Roaming profiles can be shared by multiple users. Typically, you will want to prevent users from changing the profile, most commonly by renaming the NTUSER.DAT to NTUSER.MAN. Every user will be able to load the profile and even change it -- but it will not be saved when the log off. When they log on again, they get the old profile. This works very well in call centers where the users are designed to only operate certain software and they are not assigned specific machines.

If you use roaming profiles the default way, the users will be able create a profile and have it follow then anywhere in the enterprise as long as the roaming profile is stored on a network share.
