Q

Can Windows XP function as a server?

Can Windows XP Pro function as a server to provide RAS, VPN, IIS services to a domain?
Not really, since there are inherent limitations in the OS about connectivity. For instance, IIS can be run, but it only supports up to 10 inbound connections at once. Use Windows 2000 Server or .NET Server (when it comes out).
