Q

Can you set the default logon domain for RAS clients?

Under NT 4.0 SP4 I could just log in to my RAS server(s) with my Login name and password. With the switch over to Windows 2000, when I try and log in to the RAS server(s) I HAVE to put in the server name (server nameuser name). I have different RAS servers you can dial into and I have "roll logins" on the servers. Can you tell me how I can just dial into any RAS server with just my login and password?
I know you can set the default logon domain for RAS clients, but I can't seem to find a Windows 2000-specific knowledge base article. This relates to NT4, but hopefully it will help: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;162657.
