I exchanged my old PDC with a newer one and removed AD from the old server. But now I am receiving the message, "unable to establish connection with global catalog," in Event Viewer. Can you help me?
Open the Active Directory Sites and Services Console from the Administrative Tools. Expand the Sites -> Default-First-Site-Name -> Servers [the name of your server]. Then right click on the NTDS Settings. Check the box that says Global Catalog.
