Can't get new group policy to accept new proxy server

Can't get new group policy to accept new proxy server

I recently added a new proxy server to my network. I needed to change the setting on all the workstations, so I created a group policy on my Win2k server and linked it to the organizational unit (0U) that houses the computers. But I can't get the policy to work. Is there a step that I'm missing or something to do on the client side? Please help. I'm running Windows 2000 server with Active Directory and Windows 2000 Pro workstations.

The issue could be that the group policy object (GPO) was not properly configured or applied. It could be overwritten by another GPO at the same container or by a GPO on a parent container that has No Override set.
