Q

Does SMS 2003 require a domain controller?

We are implementing SMS 2003 late this quarter. I know it requires a domain controller and we'd like to install it on Windows Server 2003. What effect will this have on our current Win2k domains? In other words, do I have to do forestprep and domainprep before I can install a Win2k3 domain controller?
SMS 2003 does not require that it be installed on a domain controller.
