Q

Does user account lockout have anything to do with SMS?

We recently added an SMS server into our Windows NT domain. The SMS box is running as a Windows 2000 member server. The client PCs are split --about 45 are Win2k and 55 are NT. Every once in a while a user account will lock out while the user is logging in. I was just curious if this could have anything to do with SMS Polling or Network Discovery. My knowledge on SMS is limited at this time, and I thought maybe you could help me out. Thanks in advance.
If the actual user account for the person logging in is locking, this wouldn't be an SMS issue. SMS uses its own accounts to perform its services.
