Q

Emulating Win2k or Win2k3 on Windows XP

I want to install SMS 2003 Secondary servers on XP clients and use them as distribution points on server-less sites. SMS2003 verifies the OS during installation of a secondary server. Is it possible for a Windows XP client to emulate being a Win2K or Win2K3 server (just to trick the application)?
Only if you use an applications such as Virtual PC to run an instance of Windows Server.
