Q

Establishing VPN between two Win2k Pro machines

This Content Component encountered an error
Can you establish a virtual private network (VPN) between two Windows 2000 Professional machines?
No and yes. Out of the box, Windows 2000 Professional does not include the software you need to have a network-to-network VPN server. However, Windows 2000 Professional does support IP security protocol (IPsec), and IPsec provides encryption between two endpoints, which may meet your requirements. If you need network-to-network tunneling or routing, you'll either need Windows 2000 Server or a third-party application.
