Forcing manual updates with SUS server

I tried to force a manual update with my SUS server, by changing the registry key at:(HKey_local_machinesoftwaremicrosoftwindowscurrentversionwindowsupdateauto update) AUSTATE = 2, and also removing the LASTWAITTIMEOUT entry. But it still does not update manually. What else do I need to do?

You also need to shutdown and restart the Windows Update service. There's a utility that will do this entire procedure for you.
