Q

Getting 'cannot find file msconfig' error message

In previous questions you have mentioned "msconfig" for use with Windows 2000. When I type it into the Run box from any of the 25 Pro PCs or eight servers on my network I get a "cannot find file 'msconfig' or one of its components" error. I vaguely remember msconfig working in Windows 98. Any ideas?
Search the hard disk for msconfig.exe. It's probably not in the current path. In Windows XP, you run it via the Help and Support Center or from C:WINDOWSPCHealthHelpCtrBinaries.
