That's a tough one to answer, because the error message is so vauge. All we know is that, for some reason, it's failing. Generally the best way to start troubleshooting these types of issues is to (in this order): 1) re-install the most recent service pack, then 2) uninstall and reinstall IIS. Good luck with it!
