Granting local administrative rights to one domain user

Is there any way for me to grant local administrative rights to a domain user to one of my domain controllers? I do not want him to have domain admin rights, just local admin rights on the said domain controller server only.
Unfortunately, no. This is an oft-requested feature and might make its way into the next version of Windows. The nearest, best thing you might be able to "get away with" is making the person a member of the Server Operator's group. They'll be able to log on to the server and do plenty of functions.
