Q

How can I convert my VB programs to C++?

I'm a student trying working on my senior project. I work some programs in MS Visual Basic and wanted to convert them to C++ codes. I'm not sure what this is called? Do you have any advice for me? Where I should begin? Are there any tools out there that I can use? I only have three months to do this, so any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately, there are no automated tools to convert Visual Basic programs to C++. You'll have to write them from scratch again in C++. Keep in mind that Visual Basic is a better tool for hiding a lot of complexity from you, so if you do reimplement them in C++, you'll have to do all heavy lifting of things like window handling and COM all on your own which will take a long time.
