Q

How can I defragment my pagefile.sys file?

How can I defragment my "pagefile.sys" file? If you can provide any information I would appreciate it. Thanks !...

Defragging the pagefile is quite similar to defragging locked files on NT 4. Just use a boot-time defragmentation (which many defraggers offer,) to defrag the paging file. With Win2000/XP, you can also perform an online defragmentation.

Check the defragger's manual to get more info on the features offered!
