How can I migrate an NT network to Win2k server?

Currently my company is running a Windows NT server. We're buying a new server and we want to use Windows 2000. How can I migrate the old network to the new server? Do I have to rebuild the whole network on the new server?

It depends if by network you mean domain. If you mean domain -- you could first upgrade the PDC and then build the new machine as a domain controller (DC) in the upgraded domain. You would then migrate the FSMO roles and retire the old server. Now if this is basically a standalone system without a domain, you could use the ADMT (Active Directory Migration Tool) to move the users from one machine to another.
