Q

How can I retrieve a list of the apps installed on a desktop?

This Content Component encountered an error
I'd like a way to query a desktop to retrieve a list of installed applications. I either need to do this from a script (with output to a flat file) or an open interface like a WMI query. Any ideas?
Yes. Take a look at the TechNet script center for a variety of sample scripts that you can put together to do exactly what you want. The work's already done for you, all you have to do is put the pieces together.
