Q

How can I see a file's author/owner?

Is there a way to view the author/owner of a file with Windows Explorer or a CMD line utility on a Win2k server? I came from a Novell background, and I used to be able to get that info. I would think any Windows 2000 administrator would need this information to manage the server. How do I find this?
You can see who the owner of a file or folder is by opening the object's properties, then selecting the Security tab, clicking the Advanced button, then selecting the Owner tab.
