Q

How can I stop apps from starting during boot-up in Windows 2000?

With Windows 98 I could go to Tools and use a configuration tool that would turn on or off different applications from automatically starting during boot-up. How do I do this with Windows 2000?
In the Run dialog box, type msconfig. On the Startup tab, click to clear the check boxes next to the programs that you don't want to start when you boot Windows 2000.
