Q

How do I allow my offsite programmer access to our ColdFusion server?

How do I allow my offsite ColdFusion programmer access to our ColdFusion server running Win2k SQL database? I've allowed him FTP access when we had it on MS Access and that worked for file download. But we may need him to access the SQL 2000 database for maintenance. Is there a 'built-in' function through SQL Server 2000 that allows that? Thanks for your help.
Actually, the best thing to do is use the greatest piece of software ever made: Terminal Server! Set up your offsite programmer with a VPN account and they can access the entire network like they are sitting in your office. That way you have complete control over what they see and can access. There's no need to mess with anything else.
