Q

How do I apply login scripts using a BAT file to map network drives?

I would like to apply login scripts using a BAT file to map user network drives in a complete Windows 2000 environment. I have created the BAT file, but I'm unsure how to apply the script to the client. Putting it in the default WinNT directory didn't work. We are not in an AD environment. It's just a shared network.
You can place them anywhere, but you'll need to have a copy on each client since you are not in a domain. Then, use either local GPOs to define log on scripts or create a registry entry that lists the batch file as a run item.
