Q

How do I deactivate the firewall from Win XP SP2?

A SearchWinSystems.com reader wants to know why his firewall keeps popping up on Windows XP when he reboots.

How do I deactivate the firewall from Win XP SP2? It keeps showing up every time I reboot my machine.
That really depends on why it's popping up in the first place. If the system is prompting you to install or activate the firewall, you probably should consider it unless you're running a better firewall solution.
