I can't get into CMOS setup because I forgot my password

I can't get into CMOS setup because I forgot my password. How can I reset my system to bypass the password? Look...

in your motherboard's documentation for a jumper you can use to reset the password. Most motherboards have this jumper. If you don't have the documentation, you can watch the screen as the computer starts for the name of the motherboard. Then, search on the Web for instructions on resetting the password. You can also try removing the CMOS battery. Remove the CMOS battery, wait a few minutes, and reinstall the battery. You will have to reconfigure your BIOS settings afterward.
