In a single-domain environment, what are the benefits of moving to native mode in Active Directory? We only have a few Windows servers on the network, including two Windows 2000 DCs, but I just can't think of a compelling reason to make the one-way switch to native mode. We're considering moving to Exchange 2000 within the next year -- does that alter the answer?
There are several features of Windows 2000 that are not available to you because you are NOT in native mode. But, really those are all moot since Exchange 2000 will require you to be in native mode.
