Internal/external namespaces in DNS setup

Put this under the horse is out of the barn category...

We migrated users from NT4 to a Win2k domain. Unfortunately, we did not use different internal/external name spaces in setting up DNS. Should I continue along with this or bite the bullet and try to fix? If I have to fix it, is there an easier solution than reinstalling everything?

If you migrated to Windows 2000, reinstalling is the only way to change the domain name. If you are going to Windows 2003, you have a chance using some new tools to perform a domain name and DNS change in place. DO NOT TRY the tools on Windows 2000 -- the horse won't be out of the barn he'll be dead in the fields –- apparently by alien experimentation.
