Q

Is it possible to continue to use a Linux DHCP server in an NT/Win2k environment?

Following up on the question about a NT DHCP server in a Win2000 environment, or vice versa, is it possible to continue using a Linux DHCP server in an NT or Win2k environment?
Yes. The BOOTP broadcast and DHCP assignment of IPs is a standard. True to form, Microsoft has expanded the standard to be more integrated with their AD and other offerings. But, for basic DHCP IP address assignment, it will work.
