Q

Is it possible to create multiple users listed in other files like .txt files?

Is it possible to create multiple users listed in other files like Access or .txt files? How can we do it?
Yes. This is in fact a very common administrative task in Active Directory, so much so that specific tools exist for it -- among them the LDIFDE (LDAP Data Interchange Format Data Entry) tool. Microsoft has written a guide to using the LDIFDE, "Step-by-Step Guide to Bulk Import and Export to Active Directory," which can be found here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/techinfo/planning/activedirectory/bulks teps.asp. A version of the same document for Windows 2003 Server can be found here: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/windowsserver2003/technologies/ directory/activedirectory/stepbystep/adbulk.mspx).

If you know VBScript and are curious as to how this could be accomplished through a script, this article at Tech-Geeks.org has a sample script that accepts new user names through a CSV file: http://www.tech-geeks.org/article.php?story=20040308171332896.
