Is it possible to remove Office XP and install Office 2000?

Once I have installed Office XP, is it possible to remove it and install Office 2000? If so, do I remove Office XP via Add/Remove Programs or do I need to do any registry changes?

You can remove Office XP with Add/Remove Programs, yes, and that should do the trick. There is a utility to completely remove Office 2000 from a system, including the Registry entries, but it does not work for Office XP, unfortunately. This may be because the uninstaller for Office XP does a better job of removing its own Registry entries.
