Is there a way to re-intall the server service without having to reinstall Win2k?

I have Windows 2000 Pro running on an IBM NetVista PC. I need to install the Message Queuing Service Component. When doing this, I get the following error:

Unable to start the MSMQ service. Error Code: 0x433
Error description: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion.

I have found that I am missing the server "service." So, is there a way to re-install the server service without reinstalling Win2000?

Try an upgrade install -- it will usually replace and repair problems without resetting your configuration or removing installed applications. Check your Services applet -- the server service will be listed if it is installed; it may simply be disabled. Failing that, I know of no way to re-install the server service without re-installing the whole OS.
