Logon script won't run on the client side

My logon script will not run on the client side. It haults when trying to run. I placed the login.bat in the following path: C:WindowsSysvolSysvolservernamescriptslogin.bat. The following occurs when the logon script tries to run:
 C:>net use g: servernamee$ The password is invalid for servernamee$ Enter the user name for 'servername':
The script would run if I keyed in the client username and password line by line. Please help -- I am quite stumped!

You may not have all the proper parameters defined in the script. Try adding in the username and password to the net use command.
