Q

Moving users from a child domain to an OU in the parent domain

In order to move users from a child domain to an OU in the parent domain, do those domains have to be in native mode? I have a new AD installation and both domains are currently in mixed mode. This was done primarily (and possibly mistakenly) to make sure existing pre-Win2k machines would still be able to obtain domain services.
Yes -- go native, dude.
