New admin looking for Win2k learning materials

I am very new at administration and have inherited a network with a range of operating systems (Win98 to WinXP). My main domain/workgroup is Win2k-based. I am finding it difficult to implement even the simplest tasks because I have no formal training in this area. Can you suggest a program/book to aid me in learning everyday desktop security implementation that will make things easy and fast?

Unfortunately, I don't know of a book that specifically addresses your situation, but I can make several suggestions that are close:
  • Windows NT Power ToolKit
  • Windows 2000 Power ToolKit
  • Windows XP Power ToolKit (to be released soon)
  • Using Windows 2000 Professional
  • Using Windows XP Professional
