Pointing Microsoft DNS servers to external DNS servers

We have a large NT 4.0 network. We are using Linux BIND v9 for external DNS. I am planning on upgrading the NT 4.0 PDC to 2000 Active Directory this weekend. Will the Active Directory wizard automatically install a DNS server on the upgraded PDC or will I have to install it before the installation? And once that is set up, what is the best way to point the Microsoft DNS servers to the external DNS servers?

AD will prompt you for existing DNS server info, or if none exists will allow you to let DNS be installed alongside AD.
