Q

Problem with "Password Synchronization Scheme?"

I am running Novell 4.11 with no service packs on a file server. I am prepping a Win2K Pro workstation for use on this network. My problem deals with passwords. I can sync them at first just fine, but once the Novell password expires we have a conflict. Then we have two passwords. If I hit CTRL-ALT-DEL and change the password, it changes the Windows password but tells me that I need a Password Synchronization Scheme.
This is a known issue with the MS Netware client. Word has it that MS is not going to be fixing this problem any time soon either. The Netware client will actually perform this correctly but consider using that client long and hard as it comes with its own set of problems and you will end up having to support yet another component on your systems.
