Problems logging into a Win2000 server domain with a Win98 machine

I am trying to log on with a Windows 98 computer into a Windows 2000 server domain. For some reason I keep getting this message: "The domain password you supplied is not correct, or access to your logon server has been denied." I can use my user name and password from other NT or Windows 2000 workstation to log on successfully. How can this be changed?
Install the Active Directory Client Extensions on all Windows 98 systems or configure the DCs to support LM authentication. Windows 9x Active Directory client extension is distributed on the Windows 2000 CD and is available here.
