Recognizing a new RAID controller

If a RAID card on my server goes down and it is to be replaced with a different make/model, how do I get Windows to recognize the new RAID controller since the RAID driver information is kept on the array?

Contact the RAID vendor for installation instructions; they may have a specific procedure to accomplish that goal. You may need to perform an upgrade install after installing the RAID controller and press F6 to install the specialized drivers, or you may be able to use the Recovery Console to install them.
