Q

Script to bypass password for all PC drives at logon

I have a lot of mapping drives on my computer. I would like to write a script on my computer so I don't have to put the password for all the drives when I log on to the computer. I even tried using net use.

net use /Persistent:yes G: 172.299.781.11web /user:adm 983

I wrote a bat file and put in the above code. I put this file in my user profile of Win2000. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You should use the persistent parameter, but otherwise your idea seems correct. That's the way I would do it. Just be sure to double check your spelling, syntax, spacing, etc. I doubt your IP address ends in "11web."
