I am having problems with a 2000 server machine that is running IIS and ISA as our proxy server. It is suffering
from "unexpected" system shutdowns at various times of the day and reporting a 6008 error in the system log. Could it be simple overheating or another hardware issue? See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326564. I also recommend that you upgrade your server to the latest service pack level for Windows 2000.
