Shared printer for Windows 98 PCs keeps going offline

I have a LAN with Windows 98 and one PC that has a USB shared printer. The PC that owns the printer is "browse master active." The rest of the LAN is "browse master automatic." Sometime the client PCs are losing the printer. It says that the printer is working offline. If I go on the printer panel and I and uncross "work offline" it works perfectly.

I tried to set a script with WiseManager to change it automatically in Regedit, but it doesn't work. Do you have any idea?

Yikes, I think you are head-butting up against a common problem with Windows 98 as a network client. The browser system is problematic. I can only suggest moving the printer to a system running Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Otherwise you'll have to live with the problem of shared resources going offline periodically even when they are still really present.
