Should I move Windows 2000 or Exchange 2000 server off of a machine to speed it up?

I have a network of 20 workstations and one Windows 2000 server. Exchange 2000 Server is also installed on this machine. It is also used as a file and application server. Which one of these should I move to another machine to speed up the server and optimize performance?
Move the exchange server to its own system.
