Synchronize files between two servers

An administrator needs to synchronize files between two servers in different locations. Both of them have Win2003 SP1 and they are in the same forest, but on different domains. They've tried DFS, but it's not working.

I need to synchronize files between two servers in different locations. Both of them have Win2003 SP1 and they are in the same forest, but on different domains. How can I do this? I tried DFS, but it's not working.
Probably the best tool for this is Secure Copy from ScriptLogic. You can also use the synchronization tools in the File Server Migration Toolkit, a free download from the Microsoft Web site.
