Unable to access local update server

My clients are unable to access the local update server (http://servername). We get the "under construction" message. We installed SUS properly on the server but were unable to download critical updates to the client workstation. We followed the procedures in the "Deployment White Paper."

If you don't want to use a GPO, then you'll have to edit every client's registry manually. For details see the SUS documentation's deployment whitepaper or visit http://www.susserver.com/FAQs/FAQ-AutoUpdateSettings.asp
