What Are WDM drivers?
WDM stands for Windows Driver Model. This is the driver architecture used by Windows 2000, ME, and XP. A WDM driver consists of a small miniport driver coded by the vendor and a series of layered bus and filter drivers coded by Microsoft and included in the operating system.
