Q

What XP Pro/Win2k registry setting enables WINS Proxy?

What is the registry setting on XP Pro and Win2k to enable "WINS Proxy"?
It's the REG_DWORD value EnableProxy in HKLMSystemCurrentControlSetServicesVxDMSTCP. Set EnableProxy to 0 to disable it or to 1 to enable it. I quickly found this value by searching the Internet using Google for the keywords "wins proxy" and "registry."
