Q

What application can I use to migrate AD from an NT server to a Win2k server?

We have an NT server for our office network. We are purchasing a new Windows 2000 server. Is it possible to migrate Active Directory and all other necessary things from our old server to this new server by writing some application, so that the application is running in the source server (NT server) and will copy all the information to the destination server (Win2k server)? The two servers are connected in a local area network.
Good news -- someone already wrote it. NetIQ created the ADMT (Active Directory Migration Tool) that Microsoft licenses. You can use the tool to transfer all sorts of things.

Happy trails!
