What does a runtime error mean when using IE 6.0?

What does runtime error mean when using IE 6.0? I use Windows 98 and this little error box drives me nuts!
It just means that some problem happened that the program can't describe in any better way. I wish I could be more specific, but the error is a general, 'catch-all' message. This is an suggestion that I hate, hate, hate to give, but the right thing for you to do is to upgrade to Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Windows 98 was very prone to these types of errors, and the newer operating systems handle it much better.
